I've always had a dog during my life. My family had German Shepherd, grandfather had hound dogs and a Foxterrier. The dogs were my companions during the happy days of my youth and the passion for dogs lasts with me until now. With my husband, we acquired a Black Poodle soon after marriage and later then a Pointer and a Cockerspaniel female. We took a Belgian shepherd female in 1974 and this was the start of my cynological adventure. We joined the Club de Race and the Club de Travail, and I started to work there soon. We joined Société Canine Départementale et Régionale as well. Together with my son Benoît (he judges 2nd FCI group, too) I successfully bred Belgian Shepherds. I was elected for the president of Société Départementale, and later for general secretary and president of Société Canine Régionale. Also, I was elected for a member of Comité de la Société Centrale Canine, and I held the position for 15 years. At the same time I prepared myself for judging. Since my husband obtained a Mastiff female, I started to prepare shows of the Club for Mastiffs and Bullmastiffs.

At present I can judge the whole 2nd FCI group, shepherd breeds of 1st group and small form molosses from the 9th group - Boston Terrier, Mops, French Bulldog, American Akita and Black Russian Terrier. During my 20 years of presidentship of Société Départementale and 12 years in Société Régionale I had to organize many shows. So you can be sure that I know very good all the obstacles and sorrow of the organizer. At Fila Brasileiro I appreciate the most their proudness, noblesse and ability to be perfect guardian. They are very reliable dogs, which need the master who can understand them and is able to raise them. Thank you again for your invitatin and confidence. I'm looking forward to meet you and your dogs in person.

The Club Show with no Club Winner title awarded

The Club Show was held, as traditionally, at Prague-Kunratice Manory Park on Sunday 12th of June.
The weather wasn't good this year, and the rain stopped right with the end of the show.
There were 5 Filas entered. The cups were given by the Fila Brasileiro Club CZ, the prizes by the sponsor of the show.
The judge did a good job, favoring the doggs with good structure and remarkable reinforcement.

I had dogs all my life at my family house. German Shepherds were my father’s choice. At 17 I found a breed I didn’t know in Portugal and I dreamed for – Bernese Mountain Dog. I had no conditions to have one because I lived in a small apartment in the centre of the town so I decided wisely to wait. Near the age of 40 I had the opportunity to share my life with some BMD’s and also with my husband’s newfies. Retired of my work, I began this adventure – to breed, to show, and more than that to select the best I could. At the same time I began to work closer with our kennel club as a ring steward (I love this work), and also in some committees. I organized also some technical forums and nowadays I’m a member of the Portuguese Kennel Club Technical Commission, also because I’m an eternal student. The results of our work (my husband and mine) were really positive and I understood that judging some breeds was the logical consequence of my work. So in 2002 I passed the first exam and according to our rules in 2007 I became an International FCI Judge. Now I judge mostly my breeds (Bernese Mountain Dog and Newfoundland), but also others from my group 2. I judge also some Portuguese breeds and step by step I will try to finish my group and who knows, other breeds I like and I know better. I have judged several times in my country, Portugal, and also in France, Ireland, Norway, Russia, Luxembourg and Italy. I have also judged some important Specialties in Portugal, France, Russia and Italy. I have been breeding chairman of the Austrian Molosser Club, actually I am the president. In judging, I am judge only for 11 molossoid breeds, I prefer athletic and sound dogs and, also in the molossoid breeds, having and showing a lot of endurance. In my opinion it is the main part in breeding dogs to keep temperament and fitness.

Some important Shows I have judged at: - ‘Angela Cipolla’ Trophy ( Newfoundland Special in Italy Tribute to Mrs. Angela Cipolla, included in the National Show of Biella in 2007 – Judged BMD’s at this national show - Regional Specialty of Eyragues organisized by the Club Français du Terre Neuve et du Landseer, in 2007. - Russian Newfoundland Club National Specialty 2008, in Tyumen, Siberia - Porto Winner show 2009, qualifying for Crufts, judged Bernese, and others. - BMD regional Specialty in Bergerac, France, 2009, organized by the French BMD club : A.F.B.S. - BMD and other breeds Dublin, Ireland in 2009. - Oslo Double CACIB 2010 Judged BMD, Pyrenean Mountain Dogs and Newfs, all qualifying for Crufts and for Norwegian Winner 2010. - I have already confirmed my invitations to judge BMD National Specialties in Russia and Italy in 2011 and in Sweden in 2012. This year's Club Show ran smooth in unexpectably nice weather in a cozy milieu of ZKO Sendrazice training grounds (www.zkosendrazice.cz).
Ther were 35 Filas in 13 classes, 1 pair and 1 breeder's group entered.
Mrs.Taborda judged unbiased and fair, while featuring slightly lighter females than we're used to. After the show she prised the level of participating dogs.
As usual, we need to give big thanks to ZKO members and it's president Mr.Miroslav Bures for their help before, during and after the show.
Thanks goes to also Bara and Dominika, who served at the entrance.

After the prizes were given out, the winners of the Challenge Cup for the last year has been acclaimed and rewarded by cups. The winners of the Photocontest 2010 received sponsor's prizes after that.

The Show was, as usual, plentifuly sponsored and and every participant received at least a little gift. b
The General sponsor bestowed dry food and supplements FITMIN.
The magazine Planeta zvirat applied the Breeder's catalogue and yearly subscription for every exhbitor.
The MANEO food and drink wholesale bestowed wines for exhibitors and some more substantial drinks for winners.
The ZOO in Dvur Kralove inscribed a weekend stay in Safari Park as a main prize and also some free tickets to the ZOO.
Mgr. Klara Filipova applied nice Fila pictures for winners.
The kennel "ze Sakaliho dvora" supplied the File head sculpture for the BOB again.
The Mayor of the town Kolin, Mr.Mgr. et Bc. Vit Rakusan, handed over the cup for the most sympathic Fila of the day to the dog of his choice and by his choice and contributed financially to the show.

The Club Show with no Club Winner title awarded
Prague - Kunratice 12.6.2010

Traditionally, our Club Show without Club Winner award took place in Kunratice Manory Park in Prague in the first half of June. There were 12 dogs in 8 classes entered. The cups were donated by Fila Brasileiro Club CZ a and the prizes by the sponsor of the show.
Mr.Josef Nemec judged very good, even he didn't have much experience with our breed.

The Club Show

30 years ago I have got my first dog, in 1985 I have bought my first bullmastiff and in 1990 my first brood bitch. Since then I have done some litters, breeding very lightly. I have been breeding chairman of the Austrian Molosser Club, actually I am the president. In judging, I am judge only for 11 molossoid breeds, I prefer athletic and sound dogs and, also in the molossoid breeds, having and showing a lot of endurance. In my opinion it is the main part in breeding dogs to keep temperament and fitness.

Agian, we were lucky to spend nice an unexpectably sunny day at the Club Show in a cozy environment of Sendrazice training grounds.
There were 30 Filas in 13 classes entered; 4 pairs competed for the Best Pair and unfortunately only one dog family competed for the Best Kennel.
Mr.Wolfgang Bruckner, international judge fom Austria, has been called as an emergency man for the originally invited Mr.Robert Blümel. He judged very strictly but fair, stressing the working abilities of dogs. His gags variegated relaxed mood of the show. At the end of the show, he pleased us with his very positive opinion on the showed dogs.
Last but not least, big thanks goes to Mr.Miroslav Bures and the staff of Sendrazice training grounds (www.zkosendrazice.cz), who helped us lot to prepare and run the show.
Thanks to Bara, Dominika and Misa, the door-money girls.

 

The show was richly sponsored and every exhibitor got at least a small prize.

The Club Show with no Club Winner title awarded
Prague - Kunratice 20.6.2009
Traditionally, our Club Show (without a Club Winner award) was held in the Manory Park Kunratice in the end of June, this year on the Saturday, the 20th. There were 10 dogs in 6 classes entered. The show was donated with cups by the Fila Brasileiro Club CZ and with differrent prizes by the sponsor.
The judge, Ing.Leos Jancik, did a good job, evaluating all of the dogs toroughly.

The Club Show
Kolin - Sendrazice 19.4.2009
Judge Dr. Ing. Bernard Panet (France)

Dr. Ing. Bernard Claude Raymond Panet lives in Limoges (F), between Bordeaux a Lyon. He breeds Boxers in his kennel „des Terres Occitanes“. His first dog was Quaou d´Antifaa, came from Hungary. Mr.Panet has started to judge 2nd FCI group in 1975. Later on, he reached approvals for 20 breeds and an interntional approval for 9 breeds. He judged many different National, International and Special shows last years. Beside others, the National Boxer Show, National Bullmastiff and English Mastiff Show, Regional Cane Corso Show, Dogo Argentino Special Show, ATIBOX Championship. In 2009, beyond the judging in the Czech Republic an France, he will judge National Boxer Show in Belgium, Special Boxer Show in Bruxeles and in Portugal.

Unexpectably nice and sunny weather at Sendrazice's training grounds contributed to traditionally warm feel of the Club Show.
There were 30 Filas in 10 classes entered and 3 pairs competed for the Best Pair. The judging of an excellent French judge, Mr.Bernard Panet, was an attraction for every exhibitor wanting to hear the expert's opinion. Mr.Panet toroughly observed different attributes of the dogs, stressing the head type, overall structure, movement, and correct bearing of the head. He judged rigorously but correct, taking in account working use of our breed. He brought nice little presents made of famous Limoge's porcelain, featuring his personal greeting, to the Club Winners, Best Junior and Best Puppy.
We wish to thank to Sendrazice trainig grounds members for their help before and during the show. Special thanks goes to Mr. Miroslav Bures, the director of the training grounds and the figurant Mr.Vaclav Svoboda, for his excellent performance during the temperament test.

The Club Show
Kolin - Sendrazice 6.9.2008

The judge, Mrs.Christiane Lafay, and the translator, Ms.Tereza Zemlova

Nice sunny day and cozy environment of Sendrazice training grounds set up traditionally fine feeling of our Club Show. Only the high temperatrure decreased the temperament of dogs. Thanks to Mr.Miroslav Bures, the chairman of Sendrazice Cynological Organzaiton and to it's staff; their work helped the show to run smooth.
A short shot from the show, taken by Czech TV, will be published on the net - the link will come soon.
There were 36 Filas entered in 11 classes, 3 pairs competed for the Best Pair.
Even there was the Club Show ot the Czech Moloss Club on the very same day, the nuber of exhibitors was not bad. They were attracted by the excellent judge, Mrs.Christiane Lafay. She stressed the correct movement of the dogs (considering the current high temperature), overall appearance and aspect. The judgements were close but correct.
Many thanks to Ms.Tereza Zemlova for her precise translation from French language; her simultaneous care about her son (a few weeks old) didn't influenced her job.

Judge Dr. Paola Micara Watten Italy

Paola Micara Watten is an Italian citizen married to a Norwegian attorney residing northof Rome.She has majored in languages and modern literature.She initiated her breding in Norway in the early 70th under the kennel name Watwald and was part of the breeding committee in the Norwegian Boxer Club as well as on the editotial staff of the local Boxer Bulletin.Contemporarily she started her judging schooling.Back in Italy Paola continued her canine activity in the National Boxer Club heading the offices for breeding selection and utility.She has been vice-president in the B.C.I.and in the international association ATIBOX. She is also authorized for judging breeds of gr.2 with specific interest in the molossian breeds.She is the proud owner of a bullmastiff champion bitch and her beloved Fila Brasilero bitch ,champion and club winner,is her daily faithful companion.She uses to train her dogs personally and never loses sight of the importance of balance and temperament in the breed standards.She is frequently judging most major international events and is often to be seen also in the role of auditor and exhibitor Her vast language control has given her the opportunity to mantain extensive contacts and made her a treasured speaker and author on important breed issues.

Before the judging itself has started, the winners of the Challenge Cup were honoured. Also, a new Club Champion obtained his cup and diploma.
The judge, Mrs.Watten, judged toroughly. While she stressed overall harmony of the dogs, any single fault against the standard didn't remain overlooked.

Every participant got an original diploma and the winners obtained nice cups and were given with a bag of superpremium dry foods donated by the general sponsor. Even the owners of the dogs placed 2nd hasn't left barehanded. Besides thier medals, they were given by PLANETA ZVIRAT magazine with a nice book about breeding. Thanks to generosity of sponsors, even the 3rd and 4th places were honored by small  prizes.

The special prize, The Jolliest Fila of the Day, was granted by the Major of Kolin City Mr.Jiri Buric after that.

After the prizes were given out, the temperament test took place. There were 4 females and 2 males entered, most of them has reaheched the required age of 18 months recently.

Traditionally, the Club Show was held in the Kunratice manory park in Prague on June the 17th. The Club Winner title was not awarded this time. There were only 8 dogs in 5 calsses entered. The unusually low attendance can be explained just the absence of the Club Winner title.
The show was judged by an international judge, Mrs.Olga Dolejsova. She concentrated on the right movement and and overall harmony of the dogs, penalizing the fault mostly overlooked by other judges, e.g. high ears, drifting front paws, or wrongly beared head during the movement. The Ring Steward duty was executed by Mr.Ladislav Kukla, the hospitant.

Mr.Thévenon was born in 1961. He is a dogman since his 15, he started to judge Mastiff a Bullmastiff breeds in 1992. At present he judges almost 40 breeds, mostly in the 2nd FCI group. He was the president of the french Fila club for three years. He has been judging Filas since 1997. He lives in Châteauroux, where he also organise dog shows every year. His only goal is the selection of the nice and utility dog along the FCI standard.

The friendly setting of Sendrazice training ground was warmed up by the sunshine on Saturday, and it made good atmosphere for our Club show. Also, the members of the Sendrazice cynological club (ZKO) helped us very much with the organization, both before and during the show. We would like to give special thanks to Mr.Miroslav Bures, the chairman of ZKO Sendrazice for his efforts while dealing with local authorities - we needed to start the paperwork from the scratch after the traning grounds in Kutna Hora had burned.
